Parking at  Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is smarter and more convenient with the introduction of our new smart parking system.

How It Works?

Parking Entrance

As you approach the parking entrance:

• License Plate Recognition (LPR) Cameras automatically scan your vehicle number plate and record your entry time.
• Stop and take a ticket from the ticket machine.
• The barrier will open instantly once the ticket is issued. Your plate number and a QR code will be printed on the ticket.
• If the barrier does not open, you can use the intercom for assistance.

Important:

Your vehicle plate number is your ticket.

Parking Payment

When you are ready to leave, you have two convenient payment options.

Pay with Your Mobile Phone

You can pay for your parking quickly and securely from your smartphone.

1. Open your phone camera or bar code scanner.

2. Scan the QR code printed on your ticket or the Scan-to-Pay QR code displayed on airport parking signage to launch the Parking payment app.

3. You will be redirected  to Airport Parking Payment App by SKIDATA.

4. Enter your vehicle plate number, if it is not displayed automatically.

5. Your parking fee will be calculated automatically.

6. Select “Pay Ticket.”

7. You will be redirected to the secure Peach Payments gateway where you can then choose your preferred payment method.  MCB Juice, Blink by Emtel, MAUCAS QR available.

8. Once the payment is completed successfully on your payment app,  you can download your receipt for your records.  

Important:

Pay at a Pay Station

If you prefer, you can pay at one of the Pay Stations located in the parking area and at the Arrival. 

1. Follow the parking signage to locate the nearest Pay Station, all at ground floor level.   Here's where you can find them:

   • One on the exterior side of Subway

   • Two as you walk out of the Welcomers Hall towards the Parking Area

   • One further ahead under the covered pathway when you turn left towards the parking exit

2. Scan your ticket or enter your vehicle plate number.

3. Your parking fee will be calculated automatically.

4. Pay securely using cash. Accepted notes: • MUR 500 • MUR 200 • MUR 100 • MUR 50     All coins are accepted.  Card payment coming soon...

5. If you are having a problem, use the Intercom for assistance.

6. Remember to collect your receipt for your records.

Parking Exit

To ensure a smooth exit, we recommend making your payment only when you are ready to leave. Once payment is completed, proceed immediately to the exit gates. 

After completing your payment, you will have a grace time of 15 minutes to exit the parking.

• Drive to the exit gate.
• LPR Cameras will scan your vehicle number plate.
• The system will verify if payment has been made.  Once confirmed, the barrier will open automatically and you may exit.

If the barrier does not open,

• Your plate number is not recognised
• You were too close to the vehicle in front of you. A distance of 2 meters should be maintained
• You may have forgotten to pay
• You may have exceeded the grace time of 15 minutes
• You may have overstayed.

You may use the Intercom for assistance or proceed to Exit Lane No. 4 for support or payment.
