We (“Airport Terminal Operations Ltd” or “ATOL”) shall use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Parking Scan-to-Pay web application accessible via this website (hereunder referred as “Scan-to-Pay”) is available for short-term parking payment during the Airport’s operational hours. However, uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
Scan-to-Pay, a component of our Car Park System by the Manufacturer SKIDATA, is hosted by SKIDATA in secure cloud platforms in Europe.
Scan-to-Pay relies on real-time data, including information derived from vehicle entry and exit records and associated systems (including, where applicable, License Plate Recognition cameras), Payment Gateways (PG), Payment Service Providers (PSP) as well as third-party mobile and telecommunications networks.
LPR Cameras installed at the entrance and exit lanes of the car park automatically capture and record the plate numbers of vehicles passing therein, including the date/time of the entry/exit. With LPR technology, misreading of plate numbers due to technical/ environmental errors (e.g. vehicle plate numbers that do not comply with the Mauritius Road Traffic Act and Regulations, heavy rains, dirt, etc.) can happen.
Accordingly, we do not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability or timely delivery of such information where this is affected by factors beyond our reasonable control.
Parking fees displayed and payable through Scan-to-Pay are automatically calculated based on recorded usage of the parking facilities. The user must verify the details of the transaction against their actual entry time prior to confirming payment.
Payments made via Scan-to-Pay have the same effect as if payment were done at a Pay Station or Cashier Booth.
Payments made via Scan-to-Pay are processed through authorised third-party PGs and PSPs using secure payment channels. We do not store full card details on our systems. Payment transfer data will be stored at the level of the PG/PSP platform.
In the event that Scan-to-Pay is unavailable, or you are unable to complete a transaction using the available digital payment methods, you may proceed to one of the on-site Pay Stations, or the Cashier Booth located at Exit Lane No. 4 to complete payment prior to exiting the parking facilities. Note: There may be longer queues at Exit Lane No. 4.
If you dispute the calculated parking fees, please proceed to the Cashier Booth located at Exit Lane No. 4.
Payment via Scan-to-Pay may be done directly before or upon returning to your car to leave, since the parking fee shown is calculated at the time of scanning the QR-code on the ticket or entering the vehicle plate number on the web-app page.
Users are granted a standard 15-minute grace period after successful payment to exit the premises. Failure to exit within this timeframe will result in additional charges at prevailing rates - to be paid before exit.
It is the user's sole responsibility to download and save the e-receipt at the time of transaction. The system does not generate retroactive receipts via the web app.
Refunds and reclamations, if any, cannot be made via the web-app. Instead, as may be applicable, please contact your PSP - or email ATOL on info.carpark@atol.aero within the next five business days, with a copy of your e-receipt attached.
There are no costs incurred by the user in connection with the use of the web-app. However, all data transmission costs must be included in the user's own data agreement with their telecom service provider.
Your use of Scan-to-Pay involves the processing of personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using Scan-to-Pay, you acknowledge such processing.
Under no circumstances shall ATOL be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use Scan-to-Pay.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mauritius. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
By using Scan-to-Pay, you agree to the above Terms of Service.
The individual steps for parking fee payment in Scan-to-Pay are self-explanatory and as below:
Please use a standard camera or barcode scanner app to scan the QR-code on your short-term parking ticket or any official signage in the parking facility. This will direct you to the URL it contains.
The web-app uses the ticket number embedded in the URL or the input vehicle plate number to query our Car Park System and displays a page with your entry and exit time, the parking fee and a payment button.
When you press the payment button you are forwarded to the Payment Gateway page. The Payment Gateway, Peach Payments Ltd., will take care of transferring the fee amount due from your bank account/wallet to ATOL's bank account. The payment options available are: VISA, MASTERCARD, Juice, Blink, MauCas QR.
After payment has been confirmed, the web-app sends a notification to our Car Park System, which applies this payment to your parking transaction.
The web-app shows a thank-you message and a button to view and download an electronic receipt (in PDF form) on your device.
You are advised to download the e-receipt.
You must proceed to the Exit within the next 15 minutes. The barrier should open automatically at the Exit without the need for you to insert the ticket/receipt.
